1.  Geodynamics and tectonics, structural geology, regional geology, geological mapping specialized in the study of folded and platforms basement areas including detailed mapping and isotopic geochronology. Precambrian geology, structural geology, tectonics and geochronology. Metamorphic core complexes in Transbaikalia and shear zones of Siberia and East Africa.

2.  Performed geological survey and detailed mapping of the old shields Siberian platform, Kola peninsula, East Antarctic shield, Bogemium and Saxonian massives; regional of the shear zones, sedimentary and metamorphic rock outcrops in Altay, East Sayan, East Kazakhstan, Tanzania (Ubende fold belt), and East Siberia; Metamorphic core complexes of the cordilleran type in Transbaikalia
